1. Firmly, but gently depress and release "activator button"
2. Allow 15 seconds for heat to spread throughout pack.
3. Quickly squeeze pack unit soft and pliable for maximum heat.
4. If activator fails to activate the unit, place in freezer for 2 minutes, then
activate.
How to Reuse Your HotShotz Heat Packs Hundreds of Times:
1. Put a wire grate, face cloth, or something similar, in the bottom of a pot. The
purpose is to prevent the Hotshotz Heatpacks from melting or burning on the
bottom of the pot. A double boiler works great for this.
2. Bring the water to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
3. Place Hotshotz Heatpacks in the pot and fill with water and cover. Continue
simmering for 6 minutes for small units and 30 minutes for large units or
until the Hotshotz are completely back to liquid form.
4. Cool the heat packs back to room temperature. If the heat packs start
turning back to a solid as they cool, return them back to the pot and
continue boiling for an additional 10-20 minutes or as long as necessary.
5. Store heat packs so as to prevent accidental activation.
6. Please remember to never store HotShotz Heat Pack in solid form for more
than two weeks.
