For best results heat pack should be at room/body temperature before activating.

Do NOT leave the heat pack in the solid state for more then two weeks. It will stay
solid if this happens it will void the warranty. Boil heat pack down and store it in its
liquid form.

Place a washcloth on the bottom of the pan to prevent heat pack from sticking or
melting to the bottom of the pan. Failure to do this will void the Warranty
